We are looking for... an enthusiastic and ambitious Account Manager who will strive to produce and promote challenging, award-winning and effective creative solutions to clients.

About the role

As an Account Manager, you will be the day to day contact for your client working closely with planners to develop strategies and effectively managing the team to deliver to the strategy.

You will be involved and contribute to strategic conversations involving brand positioning, business objectives and channel strategy. You will have accurate and current understanding of client’s industry, customers and trade in general. You will spend time with and socialise with clients.


  • Oversee the agency’s various functions in order to provide clients with a comprehensive, consistent and cohesive agency effort.
  • Build trust and confidence, and develop relationships with, the client, suppliers and other agency personnel.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring briefs are approved internally before submitting to clients for approval.
  • You will ensure regular client status meetings take place so that the agency/client are kept up-to- date on developments, and value-adding opportunities are recognised and implemented.
  • You will keep key clients fully informed of the progress of all work and any changes that may occur.
  • You will work closely with Campaign Managers and production to ensure schedules and budgets are met.
  • When a client visits the agency, you will take responsibility for making their visit meaningful, trying to anticipate their needs in advance and ensuring they have a positive experience.
  • You will manage the financial administration of your account with the client setting up project job numbers and obtain purchase orders from the client for billing purposes and on completion of a campaign, complete the billing and ensure invoices are raised to the client.
  • Ensure the highest level of attention to detail is given at all times.
  • Take full responsibility for managing an account executive and ensuring that they develop and grow into their role.
  • Ensure their training requirements are identified and work together to meet them.
  • Oversee the account executive’s work to ensure it meets the agency standard.
  • Ensure they learn all skills necessary to gain the confidence of clients and be an effective team member.

  • Minimum 2 years + in an account management role or equivalent in a creative agency
  • Demonstrate a track record of managing complex communications across a mix of media for major brands
  • Have good written skills and write clear, concise and inspirational creative briefs and client communication
  • The ability, confidence and personality to deal with, and earn the respect of, their fellow team members and clients
  • Be confident at presenting proposals and creative work
  • Demonstrate strong management skills
